The summit, co-hosted by Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions (AMGOI) and the Global Shapers Community Kolhapur Hub under the World Economic Forum, brought together academics, business leaders, and policymakers from India and Japan to explore the themes of education, culture, and innovation.

Ms. Ito delivered a keynote speech on
“How Online Decluttering Creates New Ways of Working and Driving Social Change.”
Drawing from nine years of experience supporting nearly 1,000 households, she illustrated how disorganized environments can diminish people’s confidence, health, and productivity — and how organizing one’s home and workplace can restore time, decision-making ability, and financial stability.

She emphasized that online decluttering not only empowers women to return to their careers and discover flexible new ways of working, but also contributes to the development of a circular economy and a more sustainable society.
Ms. Ito continues her mission to expand decluttering education and innovative work models beyond Japan — fostering empowerment and sustainable lifestyles worldwide.
