It's a chance to
reconnect with what
truly matters.

Hello, I'm Kasumi Ito, an online decluttering consultant.
Through the process of "decluttering," I aim to offer people an opportunity to reflect not only on their belongings and information, but also on their thoughts and behaviors.

When you organize your physical space, your mind naturally becomes clearer.
As a result, your daily priorities become easier to identify.
Decluttering isn't just about tidying a room—it's a chance to reconnect with what truly matters.

If you're ready to transform your life and mindset from the ground up, I invite you to join my course.
If you'd like to share this philosophy in your workplace or community, I'd love for you to attend one of my lectures!

Clear away the noise in your life|TEDxKhargharWomen

In this talk, I explore how unnecessary possessions, information, and outdated beliefs can limit our actions and decisions.
Drawing on real-life stories from my work in online decluttering, I propose that the very process of deciding "what to keep and what to let go" is key to shaping our future. Decluttering isn't just a task—it's an opportunity to reassess your entire life.
This talk offers practical insights on how to do just that.

What is KasumiFlow Method?

The KasumiFlow Method is a decluttering approach designed to remove the noise from your life and help you live with greater freedom.
Rather than pushing yourself to "try harder," this method encourages a natural, effortless flow—organizing your belongings, thoughts, and time with ease, like a river flows and the wind blows. After all, straining or forcing things often makes decluttering even harder. By continuously asking what to keep and what to release, you clarify your priorities and move forward lightly and confidently. This is the value that the KasumiFlow Method brings.

Decluttering is a journey of decision-making

Decluttering is the daily practice of asking what to keep and what to let go.
Japan's culture of tidying is attracting attention around the world. It's more than just minimizing possessions—it's about discerning what truly matters, and refining your life and values. From the Zen aesthetic of "yohaku" (meaningful space) to the wisdom of living comfortably in small spaces, Japanese philosophies offer immense value in today's fast-paced world.

What matters most is organizing your thoughts.

By sorting through the overwhelming items and information in your life, you begin to rediscover what's truly necessary. This naturally clarifies your priorities and brings more lightness and clarity to your everyday decisions. Decluttering is a chance to reset your life. I want to share this Japanese approach—"reduce the clutter, center your mind"—with more people. Decluttering doesn't just clear a room. It creates space for your authentic self to emerge and flourish.

Decluttering is a chance to reset your life

I want to share this uniquely Japanese approach to decluttering—reducing possessions and centering the mind—with more people around the world. Decluttering is more than just clearing your space; it's an opportunity to reflect on and reset your entire life. What lies beyond is a new stage, where you can fully express who you truly are.

Mission

Eliminate the noise, and help people live their own lives.

My mission is to help remove the "noise" from people's lives so they can make decisions with clarity and confidence. By noise, I mean unused items, excessive information, and the expectations of others—all things that confuse and weigh us down. I used to struggle with indecision.
Even when I had goals, I felt trapped beneath clutter and couldn't move forward. Decluttering taught me to ask, "What do I really need?"
That question helped me rediscover my values, clarify my priorities, and reclaim my direction in life. When you can confidently say, "This stays, this goes," you're no longer swayed by external chaos—you can focus on what really matters. I want to build a society where the freedom to choose is the norm, and where decluttering empowers individuals, organizations, and the world to become simpler and stronger.

I look forward to teaching worldwide!
